This Friday Feb 12th 2010 I will be in the Portland Love Show along with 300+ other artist.

It should be a blast, basically get all of Portland's artist and put them in a wherehouse and call it a party. This is classic Portland, a must see. It goes from 7pm till 12am, tell me when you will be there and we can try and meet up.

I will be selling this Marilyn Monroe painting for $200 so if you want it come early and bring a can of food, did I mention it is also a food drive for the Oregon Food Bank.

This painting is the first true example of a new method called "Back-Story UnderPainting". The basic idea is that each layer of painting has a slightly different story to tell. Each one of these 'stories' is documented by a digital photo to allow for the artist to "move on" without the concern of an idea being lost. The image on the front is simply the most current of the series. 

This painting is inspired by the recent economic situation the world is in. It is not finished as of yet, so you can track the "Back-Story UnderPainting".

Lady Liberty can be seen in the center of the painitng, her body has been left naked, transparent and fallen to her knees. The collage head was printed on a color laser printer on watercolor paper.
