Portland Oregon art patron Dr. Britt Anderson stands next to her two recently purchased paintings by artist Sam Roloff.
“We have purchased two of Sam Roloff’s pieces and are routinely struck by people’s interest and positive reactions to his work. Local Portland Oregon reality T.V. star Matt Roloff of TLC’s ”Little People, Big World”. Standing next to his recent purchase of his brother’s painting. This piece was bought at an auction fundraiser for the Rosemary Anderson High School in Portland Oregon.
Nancy Crabbe Hur is a great patron of the arts and Sam Roloff is thrilled that she and her husband Mike are hanging one of his finest paintings in their home. Sam’s art has added warmth to our rooms. We got to add our input so bringing the commissioned piece home completed the design of our [...] “The Marilyn Monroe picture looks as if Sam was sitting across from her while creating this masterpiece. The light yellow background appears as if Marilyn herself is lying on her yellow, silk sheets while posing for Sam. The first thing people say when they see this is “Wow!” They can’t take their eyes from it.” The proud owner, Sandi Collins Hildreth, bought this painting of the Portland Aerial Tram at OHSU. It now hangs in her home in Portland Oregon. Local Portland Oregon art collector Shiloh Metcalf, hangs a new painting by Sam Roloff on the walls of her home. The painting was inspired by the recent news of Google and China, So the piece was titled “Google vs. China 2010″. I was approached by The Olanders to paint a painting that would have their “Back-Story” within the layers of the piece. The original commission was for one large 6 x 4 foot painting, so I decided to do two paintings so that they could then choose which one they liked better.
